Penshurst Place, Kent prepares to open.

Penshurst Place is 14th Century Countryside Manor House and Gardens in Kent, just outside of Tunbridge Wells which normally attracts around 75,000 visitors a year and is hoping to re-open next week along with a number of other outdoor gardens.

Photographs show Lucy McLeod tending to the Rose display, part of the garden which is made up of 11 garden rooms, covering 11 acres dived over 1 mile of yew hedging.

The Sidney family have lived in and cared Penshurst Place since 1552. It is one of the oldest family estates in England.
