Shrouds of the Somme Exclusive Preview at Olympic Park, London, photographed for Sun Features by Oliver Dixon - 7th November 2018. Each shrouded figure represents a British Commonwealth serviceman killed at the Somme who has no known grave, many of whose bodies were never recovered from the battlefields. All 72,396 shrouds will be laid out together in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on 7th Novemeber 2018.
