Dunsborough Park Tulip Festival - 15th April 2020
Dunsborough Park Tulip Festival will be missed by visitors due to its closure from Covid-19, coronavirus. Gardener Jose Marques tends to 20,000 bulbs planted in the 18th century garden which normally has 1500 visitors a day when it opens to the public, with entry fees donated to charity.
Dunsborough Park is a stunning country estate situated in Ripley, just thirty minutes outside London. A beautiful home set amongst 100 acres of landscaped gardens.
Whilst Dunsborough Park can be traced back to the dissolution of the monasteries, it was not until the 18th century that the gardens were first professionally laid out. Since then they have been gradually improved and extended by a succession of Dunsborough’s residents.
